News from the COVISION CRAG (Ireland)

The story so far

The COVISION CRAG Ireland started its work in November 2021. It currently has eight members and we are looking for new members to strengthen it. The  CRAG meets once a month via Zoom, and our meetings last about an  hour. So far we've been meeting on Sunday afternoons, as this is the most convenient time for the members. We plan to continue till December 2022.

As the project progresses, the CRAG has advised the adult research team on:

  • How to reach out to children and young people on line.

  • Design of our on-line survey tool and publicity materials.

  • Creating a promotional video.

  • Contributing young people's perspectives to our evidence reviews.

  • Planning for our COVISION co-design workshops ... and more.

How to join the COVISION CRAG Ireland

Requirements

  1. You must be from 10-17 years old.
     

  2. You and your parent or guardian must read the Participant Information Leaflet [Downloadable PDF: CLICK HERE]
     

  3. You will have to sign an assent form to confirm that you want to participate, and your parent or guardian will have to sign a consent form to say that they agree to you participating.
     

  4. You must have access to the internet and a suitable device to log in (computer, tablet or smartphone).

COVISION has been approved by the UCD Human Research Ethics Committee. The facilitation team is committed to treating everyone with respect, care and understanding. Your safety and wellbeing are our top priority.
